The EVENT command is used to notify users of coming events; notification is
given right away and then again the day before and the day of the event.
A sample command indicating the format:
EVENT 29-JAN HAND-EYE DEMO IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM AT 3:30PM.
i.e., EVENT <date> <message>
